Dr. Higgins is a double board-certified podiatrist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of all conditions affecting the foot and ankle. After completing her undergraduate studies at Bowling Green State University, she earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. She went on to complete a three-year surgical residency at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, where she served as Chief Resident and was a member of the Graduate Medical Education Council.
Dr. Higgins is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Indiana Podiatric Medical Association, and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. She also serves as the Great Lakes Region state representative for ACFAS. She holds board certification from both the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Higgins has a comprehensive understanding of the diverse range of podiatric disorders and surgical interventions. She is currently accepting new patients and looks forward to helping patients with their treatment goals, such as returning to activities and increasing comfort.
In her free time, Dr. Higgins enjoys staying active through recreational sports, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her family. She is married with two children and two dogs.
